Congratulations to the Marching Ratters for their two “Excellent” ratings this past week, and for qualifying for the State Marching Festival!  The band’s performances resulted in their being seeded 11th out of the 23 bands who qualified in Division 3.  Great job !

Tuesday, November 4th: PVUSD Marching Festival
North Canyon will be hosting this year’s PVUSD Marching Exhibition.  The marching bands from all five PVUSD high schools will be performing their shows for family members, friends and the other bands to showcase their hard work over the past several months.  The event begins at 6:00pm in the football stadium, and admission is free.  We will be having several food trucks outside ahead of time for you to grab dinner or a snack before settling in for the shows, and a  portion of the proceeds from the food trucks will go to benefit the NCHS music program.  Please plan to attend to support the efforts of these incredible student musicians.
Volunteers are needed to help at all three events:  the football game on Thursday, the State Festival on Saturday and the Marching Exhibition next Tuesday.  If you are able to help at any or all of these events, please contact Gerald Rabenstine at grabenstine@yahoo.com.  Remember that without our help, the Marching Rattlers can’t perform.
